Lucy was born the youngest child in her family, after her older brother Christopher., and was raised without a mom who died giving birth to her. Her father was mostly abscent because of this, not being around much to teach her magic. Being the second child and a girl, Lucy's primary purpose was continuing the bloodline and learning basic magic. At the age of 11 she first visited Slivatica during her father's coronation when her grandfather died.
In her teens, Lucy's powers manifest and she discovers she has a particular ability to restore life essence, meaning she can bring things to live. Originally she experiments with this on dead plants, and later she revives her dog that got run over. Christopher at one point discovered that Lucy was practicing magic behind their parents' back when they were older, but Lucy blackmailed him with having a girl over in his room without their parents knowing.
When she was 19 she attended Christopher's wedding with Lillian Silverstone, although Lucy wasn't thrilled about the union because it would draw more attention to her family and she preferred to be out of the spotlight. When shortly after Christopher dies in the attack, Lucy has to step up as guardian of his two young daughters, Payton and Claire. Lucy attended a ceremony in Slivatica to commemorate her brother. She was the only member of her family to attend the same ceremony for Lillian in Divitia. There, she got asked if she was going to raise the young princesses since her father was too old.
Lucy eventually agreed to it, but she made an agreement with the Elders that they would raise the girls in Divitia, so she could return back to Greenville, Arizona, to tend to her father who was going downhill healtwise. When he eventualy died, 2 years after Christopher's death, Lucy got coronated Queen of Slivatica and Regent of Divita. She left her own parade however to go visit her nieces at the Silver Castle. There she watched them play and be carefree, even though they were the most important witches in history.
Lucy then decided that the girls should have a chance to live a normal life, and she asked the elders to give her the chance to raise the girls in their hometown, attending a school their parents wanted. Eventually the elders agreed, and they returned Payton and Claire to Lucy's custody so that they could attend school.
Lucy raised them in Waterfall Creek, attempting to give them a normal life so that they could go to school and make friends, and so that their magic wouldn't be constantly monitored. When the girls powers did start to develop more, Lucy created spells for them to dampen them, hoping to keep the girls safe. However soon the first attacks started, and Lucy realized the Silverstones would have to fight for the rest of their lives to stay safe.
Realizing she would never have a normal life, Lucy got the girls to become boarding students and she returned back to Greeneville. She distanced herself from her nieces, only showing up when really needed for legal mathers. She had a falling out with Payton who was 17 and tried to get emancipated. Lucy told her that she promised her brother to stop him from making any stupid mistakes as a teenager, and that she would do the same thing for Payton.
When the girls are nearing highschool, Lucy eventually shows up in town for Payton's graduation, and Payton reconsiles with her. Lucy remains in town for a while after that, and she is there when the girls get attacked by Liam. Lucy gets called in by her nieces, and upon seeing him, she senses her brother's life essence. By asking questions, Lucy is able to determine that Liam is her brother's son.
Payton asks Lucy to stay in town, but Lucy refuses to because Liam reminds her too much of who her brother used to be. She returns to her home in Texas. A few months later, Payton finds out that Lucy was murdered by vampires in revenge for the killing spree Payton had been going on in Portland.
When Liam becomes a wizard, he gets given some of Lucy's diaries in which she talks about her life as a teenager in which she discovered her own powers, and in which she talks about her brother, bringing Liam closer to his family.
